Pizza Day

I'd like to write a little thank you to the mystery person who took ONE bite of my pizza and walked away.

Yesterday was pizza day at the union building. Totally unplanned. 1,000 Little Caesars pizzas were ordered to promote an event.. but then it snowed so they had to move all the food inside. Nobody knew this, so pizzas had to be handed out by the boxful. Large cheese pizzas turned into personal pizzas. Good thing there was some Polynesian convention going on, they certainly appreciated the food. Ever heard of the Pie? AMAZING pizza. So good and so... large. Somebody ordered this pizza for a friday event.. but it got delivered a day early. Oops. Of course I had already eaten Little Caesars, but I couldn't pass up all the options being thrown my way.

"We have BBQ Chicken back here!" (My favorite)
"There's Thai in his box!" (Sooo good)
"Here's another box of garlic bread" (Don't mind if I do.)

I felt like I should have some self control though, so I stuffed 2 pieces of the BBQ chicken in a take out box and shoved in the office fridge to eat today. I was only thinking of future Rosie here and how much she'd appreciate it. Today I come in and open the box and one piece was gone. I saw it as a good thing, because I really didn't need to eat THAT much pizza. I looked at the solo piece sitting there.. someone had taken a bite out of it! So that's great. Good thing my boss isn't afraid of germs or anything, because he's currently chowing it down.

Should I say pizza some more? pizza pizza pizza.


Oh and happy Sprinter everyone. The groundhog who said spring is here needs to be taken out because he's all sorts of wrong.

Me: "WHY IS IT SNOWING?!"
Boss: "Rosie, it's because the angels are crying."
Me: "WHY are the angels crying??"
Boss: "I don't know.. probably something you did."
